Our Mission
On November 1–4, 2026, Antigua and Barbuda makes history as it welcomes leaders, delegations, civil society, and youth representatives from across 56 sovereign member nations for the 28th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM 2026) in St. John’s.
Coinciding with our nation’s historic 45th Anniversary of Independence, CHOGM 2026 stands as a monumental moment for our twin-island state, bringing world attention to small island developing states (SIDS), climate resilience, economic sustainability, and youth empowerment.
